As President of the American Swiss Foundation for 20 years, Patricia Schramm cultivated a transatlantic network of more than 1,500 leaders in business, government, and academia to strengthen U.S.–Swiss relations.

She designed, planned, and led the annual Young Leaders Conference in Switzerland, bringing together emerging leaders and senior decision-makers from both countries.

In collaboration with the Board of Directors and a high-performing team, she organized more than 100 alumni reunions, including the Gallatin Forum in Washington, to foster long-term engagement among members.

She initiated the Building Bridges Leadership Conference in Washington, featuring Supreme Court Justices, Senators, Members of Congress, and a Treasury Secretary.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, she launched ASF CONNECT, a virtual program to maintain member engagement, and moderated more than 20 online conversations with high-ranking speakers.

Each year, she convened a high-profile Gala Dinner, honoring senior leaders and raising funds for the Foundation’s programs.
